Project Controls Manager

A minimum of 15+ years of experience in Project cost and Schedule control is required, including 5-10 years in leadership roles managing within complex engineering and construction project environments.

Nuclear experience is considered an asset.

Proficient in MS office suite of software, especially in Microsoft Excel.

Preferably thorough knowledge of Primavera P6.

Demonstrate problem solving abilities, including the ability to learn new software as per the company standards.

Expert knowledge of PMBOK/PMI project management techniques including hands on experience applying on large projects. i.e. critical path method planning, progress measurement and earned value techniques, analyzing data, and complex project reporting.

Strong knowledge of the general project controls policies and procedures.

Strong organizational skills and attention to details are required.

Ability to establish priorities and work under pressure to meet project deadlines.

Effective problem-solving and analytical skills with a results-oriented approach.

Ability to work well with Clients and Alliance partners.

Ability to develop, build and maintain good working relationships leading a Project Controls team.

Ability to communicate effectively to senior management.

Ability to mentor junior and intermediate staff and work with senior project cost controller.

Strong communication, report writing and presentation skills.
