The role is part of a newly awarded Oil and Gas project in the UAE.
Role Overview
The employer is seeking an experienced Project Controls Engineer to join a qualified engineering team.
The role supports project controls, procurement, subcontract administration, engineering deliverables, cost management, variations, claims, and project reporting.
Project Controls Duties
- Draft project-specific Project Controls Procedures and prepare internal and external project reports.
- Maintain deliverables lists and registers for procedures, plans, engineering, procurement, materials, and method statements.
- Prepare procurement packages with quantity take-offs, contract specifications, technical requirements, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain procurement, subcontractor, engineering deliverables, and materials registers and reconciliations.
- Maintain project records and diaries covering activities, climate conditions, resources, productivity, events, and site instructions.
- Monitor contract scope, variations, and claims, collect supporting records, and prepare variation and claim submissions.
