Role Description
The Electrical & Instrumentation Estimator is a full-time, role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
This role is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for electrical and instrumentation work scopes on EPC projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracted services.
The estimator reviews technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents, identifies risks and opportunities, and develops accurate pricing in line with project requirements and company standards.
The role also involves maintaining estimation databases, updating cost benchmarks, and contributing to continuous improvement of estimating processes and tools.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Estimating and Cost Control for large-scale EPC or construction projects.
- Candidates should possess 5-7 years of experience in Electrical Contracting and practical knowledge of Electricity systems in industrial or infrastructure environments.
- Relevant academic qualification such as a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in estimation within EPC, construction, or oil and gas sectors, preferably in the Middle East region.
- Proficiency with estimating software, MS Excel, and other cost analysis tools.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
