Responsibilities
- Provide advanced cost control support to assigned project management teams
- Collaborate with Project Controls Advisors, Engineering Leads, and Execution teams to initiate and manage purchase orders and change orders
- Ensure requisition lifecycle processes are complete, accurate, and compliant
- Serve as the primary point of contact for requisition creation within Oracle Financial systems
- Monitor and communicate the status of requisitions, purchase orders, and change orders to stakeholders
- Analyze and report project related financial and procurement data using Oracle Financials, Power BI, SharePoint, and Excel
- Support contract revisions and funding adjustments when required
- Work with Supply Chain Management and Accounts Payable teams to facilitate service receipts and invoice validation processes
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement and invoice management efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Equivalent combinations of post secondary education and relevant industry experience will be considered
- Minimum 3 years of experience supporting Purchase Orders for Engineering and Construction capital projects
- Understanding of project cost control principles and best practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Oracle Cloud
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

About the Role

- This role will work closely with Project Controls Advisors, Engineering Leads, Execution Teams, Supply Chain Management, and Accounts Payable.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Equivalent combinations of post secondary education (including diplomas) and relevant industry experience will be considered.
- Minimum 3 years of experience supporting Purchase Orders for Engineering and Construction capital projects.
- Experience gained through co op terms, internships, or student placements may be considered.
- Understanding of project cost control principles and best practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Oracle Cloud.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Oracle Financials.
- Knowledge of Power BI and SharePoint reporting tools.
- Experience supporting capital project environments within energy, utilities, infrastructure, or engineering sectors.
- Strong attention to detail and process improvement mindset.
Working Conditions
- Office based hybrid work environment (In Office: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday | Remote: Wednesday & Friday).
- Up to 10% travel may be required.
- Collaborative team environment supporting large scale capital projects.
