Role Overview
Join an international engineering consultancy on a major cargo terminal and international airport project in East Africa.
Lead project controls activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the project controls function across the project.
- Maintain integrated schedules, baselines, and progress measurement systems.
- Monitor progress, performance, milestones, and deliverables.
- Oversee cost control, forecasting, and budget monitoring.
- Identify schedule and cost risks with project teams and stakeholders.
- Prepare project controls reports, dashboards, and performance analyses.
- Manage change control and assess cost and schedule impacts.
- Identify delays, trends, and risks and recommend mitigation measures.
- Coordinate planning, cost, commercial, and project management functions.
- Advise senior project management and the Client on project controls.
Requirements
- Recognized degree in Project Management, Program Management, or a related discipline.
- Membership of an appropriate professional institution.
- At least 10 years of experience on large international airport projects.
- At least 5 years of relevant Project Controls Management experience.
- Operational airport environment experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, change management, and reporting.
- Experience managing project controls on large and complex projects.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
- Proficiency in project controls and Microsoft Office applications.
