Role Overview
The Data Lead will provide leadership across data governance, data management, data acquisition, and data ingestion.
The role is responsible for effective data practices, data quality and security, and scalable business-oriented solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead data governance, management, acquisition, and ingestion functions.
- Oversee the collection, management, integration, and storage of data.
- Develop and implement data management and governance strategies.
- Establish data acquisition practices that sanitize, process, structure, and optimize data for use.
- Ensure data processes comply with privacy and security standards.
- Lead and coordinate Data Architects, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists.
- Oversee data integration activities related to customer onboarding.
- Develop and manage data-sharing agreements with relevant stakeholders.
- Drive operational and strategic data decisions across multiple stakeholders.
- Participate in data governance forums and committees.
- Improve data architecture, management capabilities, and processes throughout the product and solution lifecycle.
- Promote effective data use for business objectives and informed decision-making.
