About the Role
Assets Group is seeking a Project Controls Director to lead and oversee all project controls functions across a portfolio of large-scale developments in Doha. You will manage planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, and reporting for multi-billion-dollar projects.

Responsibilities
- Lead the Project Controls function across multiple projects and business units
- Establish and maintain project controls policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, cost control, progress measurement, risk management, and reporting activities
- Monitor project performance against approved baselines and recommend corrective actions where required
- Develop executive level dashboards, KPIs, and performance reports
- Ensure effective integration between planning, cost, commercial, procurement, and construction teams
- Lead project forecasting, budget monitoring, and change management processes
- Identify project risks and opportunities and support mitigation strategies
- Provide strategic advice to senior management regarding project performance and delivery
- Build and mentor high performing project controls teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field
- Master's Degree is an advantage
- PMP, PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional), AACE, or equivalent certifications preferred
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in Project Controls, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience on mega projects, mixed use developments, hospitality, infrastructure, real estate, or large scale construction projects
- Strong expertise in planning, scheduling, cost management, earned value management (EVM), risk management, and project reporting
- Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, Power BI, and project controls systems
- Experience managing project controls teams across multiple projects
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Role Overview
