Senior Vertical Farming Project Consultant (20+ Years Experience)
About The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Vertical Farming Project Consultant to lead the end-to-end planning and execution of a vertical farming project in Dubai.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing large-scale vertical farming systems and preparing comprehensive project reports, along with hands-on experience in securing government approvals, loans, and subsidies under relevant UAE schemes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop complete vertical farming project plans
- Prepare detailed business plans, feasibility studies, and technical reports
- Manage end-to-end documentation and submission to Dubai government authorities
- Apply for and secure government approvals, permits, and incentives
- Handle loan applications under government schemes for vertical farming projects
- Identify and apply for government subsidies and financial support programs
- Provide strategic guidance on project setup, operations, and scalability
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and sustainability standards
Requirements
- 20+ years of experience in vertical farming or controlled environment agriculture
- Proven experience in designing and executing vertical farming projects
- Strong knowledge of UAE/Dubai government regulations and approval processes
- Hands-on experience in applying for:
- Government-backed loans for agriculture/vertical farming
- Subsidy programs and financial incentives
- Expertise in preparing bankable project reports and feasibility studies
- Ability to manage the complete project lifecycle independently
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with government departments in Dubai/UAE
- Background in agriculture engineering, horticulture, or agri-tech
- Strong network within the vertical farming / food-tech ecosystem
