About the Role

- Facilitate cross functional planning and project execution, ensuring the project is delivered on time
- Monitor project tasks and ensure activities are finished on time
- Report project progress through schedule updates
- Identify key potential issues and escalate to higher management
- Identify key risks and prepare contingency plans
- Adhere to the NPDI New Product Development & Introduction process
- Assist project team members as required
- Identify and lead continuous improvement projects
Requirements
- Diploma with 5 years experience or Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 2 years experience, or other technical degree
- Proven ability to communicate and negotiate with people at various levels
- Competence in problem solving, follow up, report preparation and update
- Experience in conducting meetings to ensure progress
- Ability to quickly develop cross functional relationships
- Results oriented with proven ability to accomplish goals
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Project, and Smartsheet
- Strong communication skills

Job Summary
- The Project Coordinator is responsible for cross functional management of new product development and sustaining projects, coordinating engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality, production, logistics, and other groups to optimize time and expedite NPDI projects.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate cross functional planning and project execution, ensuring the project is delivered on time
- Monitor project tasks to be done by other departments and ensure activities are finished on time
- Report project progress through schedule update, to assure the project is on target for schedule
- Identify key potential issues and escalate it to higher ups to ensure that the project does not slip
- Identify key risks and prepare contingency plans
- Adhere to the NPDI, New Product Develop & Introduction process
- Assist project team members as required
- Identify and lead continuous improvement projects
Qualifications
- Diploma with 5 years experience or Bachelors degree in Engineering with 2 years experience, or other technical degree
