- Conduct desk and secondary research across sectors, industries, and themes
- Design and deliver benchmarking, landscape, and comparative analyses
- Plan and conduct interviews, stakeholder engagements, and facilitate research circles and workshops
- Perform structured analysis of qualitative and quantitative data
- Develop personas, user segments, and use cases grounded in research evidence
- Synthesize findings into clear insights, patterns, and implications
- Produce executive ready deliverables such as memoranda, briefings, and presentations
- Support project leads with day to day delivery, workplanning, and task tracking
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Social Sciences, Design, or related discipline
- 1–2 years of experience in management consulting, strategy, research, design, or comparable analytical role
- Exceptional structured problem solving ability
- Strong research capability across secondary and primary methods
- Sound analytical and quantitative ability, comfortable with data and Excel
- Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication

Overview
- Dubai Design Lab is seeking a Project Associate to serve as a sector agnostic analyst across its portfolio of projects.
- The role suits an early career professional who thinks in a structured, hypothesis driven way and is comfortable with research, analysis, and synthesis.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct desk and secondary research across sectors, industries, and themes.
- Design and deliver benchmarking, landscape, and comparative analyses.
- Gather, organise, and quality assure evidence from a wide range of sources.
- Plan and conduct interviews, contextual conversations, and stakeholder engagements.
- Design and facilitate research circles, focus groups, and workshops.
- Support the design and administration of surveys and other primary research instruments.
- Undertake structured analysis of qualitative and quantitative data.
- Perform quantitative analysis as required, building models to quantify options and trade offs.
- Develop personas, user segments, and use cases grounded in research evidence.
- Synthesise qualitative and quantitative findings into clear insights, patterns, and implications.
- Develop insight frameworks, opportunity areas, and hypotheses.
- Produce executive ready deliverables — memoranda, briefings, and well structured presentations.
Who We're Looking For?
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Social Sciences, Design, or a related discipline; a relevant master’s degree is an advantage.
- 1–2 years of experience in management consulting, strategy, research, design, or a comparable analytical role.
- Intellectual curiosity and adaptability.
- Exceptional structured problem solving.
- Strong research capability across both secondary and primary methods.
- Sound analytical and quantitative ability, comfortable working with data and building models in Excel.
- Strong synthesis skills.
- Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills; familiarity with BI or data visualisation tools is an advantage.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work natively with AI tools and emerging technologies.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a strong bias for action.
