Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end users for hardware, software, and network related issues
- Manage and resolve incidents reported by end users in a timely manner
- Handle service requests such as software installations, hardware upgrades, and access permissions
- Conduct training sessions for end users to help them understand and effectively use IT systems
- Maintain an inventory of IT assets, including hardware and software
- Manage user accounts, including creation, modification, and deletion
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications
- Implement and manage patch management processes
- Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions
- Provide first level support for systems, servers, and network related issues
- Explore and apply AI tools and 'vibe coding' techniques to automate routine support tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT Engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL
- Experience with user account management, software management, and patch management
- Hands on experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Intune
- Sound awareness of information security and data governance principles

- IT Engineer will be part of the Information Technology structure.
- The Technology function’s main objective is to enable the Dubai Future Foundation to deliver on its ambitions and initiatives.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end users for hardware, software, and network related issues.
- Manage and resolve incidents reported by end users in a timely manner.
- Handle service requests from end users, such as software installations, hardware upgrades, and access permissions.
- Conduct training sessions for end users to help them understand and effectively use IT systems and tools.
- Maintain an inventory of IT assets, including hardware and software.
- Manage user accounts, including creation, modification, and deletion.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications.
- Implement and manage patch management processes to ensure that systems are protected against vulnerabilities.
- Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Provide first level support for systems, servers, and network related issues.
- Manage both internal and external relationships to ensure end to end service delivery and project completion.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and cybersecurity.
Who We're Looking for?
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT Engineering or related field.
- Strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL.
- Experience with user account management, software management, and patch management.
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hands on experience with the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), and endpoint management tools such as Intune.
- Sound awareness of information security and data governance principles.
- Familiarity with AI tools and 'vibe coding' is a strong plus.
