Overview
Support delivery of a major cultural festival in Abu Dhabi as an organised, proactive, and hands-on Programming Producer.
Report to the Programming Lead and coordinate with Creative, Production, Technical, and Operations teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead production of approved programming elements from pre-planning and sourcing through build and live delivery.
- Support scheduling, logistics, budgets, and production requirements.
- Research, source, and onboard artists, artisans, facilitators, vendors, suppliers, and programme partners.
- Manage contributor profiles, documentation, schedules, requirements, and logistics.
- Coordinate creative look, visual identity, audience experience, physical elements, and technical requirements.
- Coordinate access, staffing, audience flow, schedules, and day-to-day programme operations.
- Maintain schedules, run sheets, production trackers, contact lists, and technical requirement documents.
- Lead site visits, walk-throughs, rehearsals, testing, and pre-opening preparations.
- Oversee programme elements during build and live phases and resolve or escalate issues.
- Support post-event debriefs, documentation, and evaluation.
Job Specifications
- At least 5 years of experience in event production, cultural programming, festivals, performing arts, exhibitions, or a related field.
