Role overview
UBC's Automation Solution Delivery team is seeking a Programmer Analyst I.
The role is a hands-on delivery position supporting complex or campus-wide computer systems.
The position works with analysts, developers, technical leads, managers, architects, and other technical and business stakeholders.
Compensation and term
- The salary range is CAD 7,158.42 to CAD 10,292.25 monthly.
- This is a one-year term position ending September 13, 2027.
Core responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, maintain, and support software applications and modules.
- Participate in software development from conception to deployment, including analysis, coding, building, and deployment.
- Troubleshoot post-production issues in code, configuration, and integrations.
- Develop front-end code, platform configurations, databases, services, integrations, RESTful services, and APIs.
- Analyze system integration, security, scalability, performance, maintainability, usability, and reliability requirements.
- Support new-build and enhancement work, vendor application integration, and application packaging for production.
- Provide technical support and consultation, maintain applications, and follow software development lifecycle practices.
