Role overview
The Programme Quality Engineer provides end-to-end quality assurance support throughout the programme lifecycle.
The role acts as a designated quality focal point, providing independent oversight, managing quality risks and non-conformances, and coordinating quality activities across programme functions.
Quality requirements must be embedded and verified across design, development, verification, validation, qualification, production, and acceptance activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead programme quality assurance from design through production readiness while ensuring customer, regulatory, contractual, and company compliance.
- Develop, maintain, and implement the Quality Assurance Plan in line with approved plans, standards, procedures, and milestones.
- Provide quality governance during programme, stage gate, and management reviews, reporting quality status, risks, and recommendations.
- Manage quality activities covering design, development, integration, verification, validation, qualification, testing, and production readiness.
- Review and approve programme deliverables, design documentation, First Article Inspection Reports, quality reports, and programme data packages.
- Lead non-conformance, deviation, and concession management through root cause analysis, risk assessment, corrective action, and governance closure.
