Role Overview
The Air Systems & Propulsion Integration Engineer supports design, development, and integration of air handling and fluid systems for advanced turbojet and turbofan programs.
The role covers intake aerodynamics, exhaust nozzles, fuel and lubrication systems, actuation hardware, and engine test support.
Location and Reporting
- The position is based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, with relocation support available for exceptional international candidates.
- The role sits within Engineering – Propulsion Systems and reports to the Propulsion Systems Leadership Team.
Intake and Nozzle Design
- Design and optimize air intake systems for turbojet and turbofan applications.
- Perform CFD analysis to evaluate airflow performance and efficiency.
- Design and develop exhaust nozzle geometries.
- Optimize nozzle performance for thrust, efficiency, and backpressure requirements.
Fluid and Actuation Systems
- Select and integrate pumps, solenoids, valves, and associated actuation hardware.
- Define fuel system architectures and lubrication systems.
