Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, planning, and budgeting of the programme strategically aligned with organization goals
- Develop and execute a business development and market stakeholders' engagement strategy
- Manage the design, execution, and timely high quality delivery of collaborative projects and flagship initiatives
- Lead the development of market driven solutions by translating identified market needs into actionable programme initiatives
- Mentor and coach Programme Associate, providing feedback and career guidance
- Co define quarterly and yearly key impact metrics and engagement KPIs for the programme
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Social Sciences, or related discipline
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in managing programs in academic institutions, think tanks, research centers, member based networks, or non profit organizations
- Demonstrated experience in business development, revenue generation, and/or fundraising
- Fluency in English is required
- Fluency in Arabic is highly desirable
- Additional certifications in project management, corporate governance, data governance, impact measurement, or technology management are highly desirable

Summary
- The Programme Manager will lead the design, development, and execution of Pearl Initiative’s Governance in Technology Programme, building thought leadership in the GCC region on corporate governance, ethical decision making, transparency, and governance enabled innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, planning, and budgeting of the programme
- Drive programmatic innovation and identify cross programmatic synergies
- Develop and execute a business development and market stakeholders' engagement strategy
- Manage an annual market engagement calendar
- Lead the development of compelling proposals for funders and partners
- Manage the design, execution, and delivery of collaborative projects and flagship initiatives
- Adopt best practices in project management across all projects
- Manage programme teams and insourced third parties
- Oversee successful execution and delivery of all projects in line with contractual obligations
- Proactively communicate project updates to stakeholders
- Identify market needs and develop market driven solutions
- Curate and convene the programme’s working group
Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or Social Sciences
- Additional certifications in project management, corporate governance, data governance, impact measurement, or technology management are highly desirable
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in managing programs in academic institutions, think tanks, research centers, member based networks, or non profit organizations
- Work experience in the private sector, including tech companies, startups, or entrepreneurial ventures is highly desirable
- Work experience in governance in the tech sector is highly desirable
- Demonstrated experience in business development, revenue generation, and/or fundraising
- Demonstrated ability to deliver programmes independently while managing relationships with senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated acumen in AI governance, ethical AI, and emerging regulations
- Expertise in research, impact analysis, and programme development is highly desirable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, portfolio of published writings is highly desirable
- Fluency in English is required
- Fluency in Arabic is highly desirable
