- Lead in preparation and manage the preparation and development of construction and procurement schedules
- Review contract documents, suggest changes for planning, cost and programming aspects
- Review schedule trends to identify problem areas and recommend corrective action
- Carry out studies into scheduling, resource and material flow as needed
- Develop draft Monitoring and Reporting System for management and Engineer review
- Manage all programme control aspects for the Consultant for monthly reports to the Engineer
- Monitor and report on design performance to design programme and cost
- Manage resolution of variance reports relating to scheduling and cost reporting
- Provide guidance and advice to senior management team on planning issues
- Assist in consultant selection process for commercial and technical evaluation
- Assist in establishing/delivering formal reporting arrangements on Project progress for client and Project
- Prepare risk assessment and mitigation plans
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university in an appropriate field such as Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 20 years overall post graduate experience as Project Controls lead for planning projects of deep tunnel and pumping station
- At least 12 years’ experience working as part of a Project Management Consultants (PMC) organization or similar for delivering large multidisciplinary infrastructure programmes
- Professionally qualified in PMP / MRICS or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken
- Extensive experience of marine projects preferred

Job Description
- The Programme Lead (Senior Planning Engineer) is responsible for developing, maintaining, monitoring, and reporting project schedules to ensure successful delivery in accordance with approved timelines, budgets, and contractual requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead in preparation and manage the preparation and development of construction and procurement schedules.
- Reviewing contract documents, suggesting changes for planning, cost and programming aspects.
