Responsibilities
- Lead planning, design, and technical delivery of major infrastructure projects from concept through construction and handover.
- Provide strategic leadership to multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring technical excellence and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to infrastructure delivery and marine.
- Manage contracts with external vendors and contractors.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost benefit analyses for infrastructure projects.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Manage risk and resolve issues that arise during project delivery.
- Oversee project management including planning, design, procurement, construction, and delivery.
- Manage a team of engineers, project managers, and construction workers.
- Engage with stakeholders such as clients, government agencies, and regulatory bodies.
- Negotiate contracts with clients, contractors, and other key project partners.
- Identify and mitigate risks that may impact project timeline, budget, or safety.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (or similar)
- 20 years post graduate experience
- Minimum 5 years GCC Infrastructure / Roads / Community Development Projects
- Strong exposure to Project Design Management on Roads / Utilities / Urban Development Projects
- PMC / Consultancy background
- Developed technical understanding of Infrastructure Delivery
