Program Officer

• Experience supporting education, engagement, communications, behaviour change or community outreach programs.
• Strong research, analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to use data and evidence to inform decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex information for different audiences.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across teams and with external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of conservation, heritage or regulatory environments would be highly regarded.

Key knowledge and experience

• Knowledge of conservation and heritage regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in supporting education, engagement, communication or behaviour-change projects.
• Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills to support evidence-based program design.

Essential requirements

• Current NSW driver’s license and ability and willingness to travel throughout the state when required
• Satisfactory criminal records check
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent professional experience.
