The Program Manager is a client-facing role responsible for end-to-end delivery of a project and management of a local team.
The role maintains a centralised product vision while adapting delivery to local programme and customer constraints.
The Program Manager works closely with the team in France and serves as the main customer contact during execution.
Responsibilities
- Act as the single point of contact for the customer throughout programme execution.
- Lead cross-functional delivery of complex and mass-produced systems on time and to specification.
- Ensure deliverables meet contractual, technical, and operational requirements.
- Anticipate risks and lead structured resolution of crises and programme-level blockers.
- Own programme timelines and activate billing at contractual milestones.
- Align centralised product policies with programme-specific and customer-specific constraints.
- Identify missing enablers and escalate issues to unblock delivery and alignment.
- Manage a local team and coordinate with the team in France.
Candidate Requirements
- 10 or more years of defense or aerospace programme management experience.
- Experience owning a €20 million or larger Middle East export contract end to end.
- Direct Ministry of Defense customer exposure, including offset, local content, and dual-use export licensing.
- Engineering degree in aerospace, electrical engineering, systems, mechatronics, or a related field.
- Arabic and English are mandatory, and the role requires mobility across the Middle East.
- Strong knowledge of defense acquisition processes, programme milestones, and compliance documentation.
- Ability to manage disruptive environments and a complete business plan.
- PMP is a plus, not a requirement.
- Strong documentation, organisation, communication, and leadership skills.
