In this role, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and supporting the delivery of new, operationally ready facilities with validated systems and equipment, and with appropriate regulatory approvals and licenses in place. You will play an integral role by leading a small team implementing multiple concurrent initiatives; developing and implementing program dashboards, roadmaps and other materials to support long-term program planning and corporate reporting; and supporting the establishment of governance and operational structures related to national design standards.
Leveraging your project and program management experience, you will lead or participate in the delivery of several multi-year projects according to established cost and time parameters, where stakeholder management and change management are critical considerations.
Utilizing your collaboration skills, you will work with multiple teams and steering committees, while leveraging your leadership and engagement skills to oversee, support and direct project team members in staying engaged with the plan and effectively accomplishing the goals and objectives of the projects being delivered.
Drawing on your leadership experience, you will monitor implementation activities, including those related to equipment device ordering, validation and deployment, provide regular status updates to all key partners and leadership, and identify opportunities for process improvement and program maturation.
Drawing on your decision-making expertise, you will make decisions that impact project deliverables, costs, and timelines, which will impact other business areas.
Your risk management expertise will be utilized to identify, monitor, and mitigate substantial risks, with implications beyond the project.
Utilizing your communication and teamwork skills, you will intervene in sensitive or complex stakeholder communications, remove barriers, and facilitate change management.
Drawing on your management experience, you will develop and implement new tools, templates, dashboards and other technologies to support the program.
This role will work in a hybrid environment with requirements to be onsite at Canadian Blood Services location at least 40% of the time/2 days of the week.
Travel may be required to attend meetings and to fulfill project commitments.
