Role Overview
The L5 Program Manager in Amazon’s SSD network leads small- to medium-scale programs that support operational excellence across the fast delivery network.
The role focuses on managing selections, scaling initiatives, and improving customer experience, speed, and operational efficiency.
Program Execution and Delivery
- Own two to three medium-sized programs from conception through implementation.
- Develop project plans, secure resources, and manage cross-functional implementation.
- Track tasks, deliverables, deadlines, and milestones, and make trade-offs to optimize delivery.
- Launch and scale initiatives across the fast delivery network.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, product teams, and other cross-functional groups.
- Communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to stakeholders.
- Provide fortnightly leadership updates on progress, readiness, challenges, and support needs.
- Influence without authority by building trust and consensus across teams.
