Role Overview
Amazon is seeking an Associate Vendor Manager for its Retail Vendor Recruitment organization in Dubai.
The role supports Amazon.ae and Amazon.sa by recruiting and onboarding vendors and developing product selection for customers.
The position requires autonomous, strategic, and tactical work to achieve business objectives in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and contact new vendors and assess their potential for Amazon marketplaces.
- Recruit vendors and make relevant product selection available on Amazon stores.
- Lead vendors through onboarding phases through their first units shipped.
- Explain the benefits of partnering with Amazon through cold calls, commercial events, and trade fairs.
- Advise vendors on business needs, catalogue data integration, Amazon tools, and tool usage.
- Develop deep knowledge of vendor needs and success drivers.
- Plan, conduct, deliver, and report analyses on recruited vendor performance.
- Improve vendor recruiting and onboarding processes and help remove technical blockers.
Basic Qualifications
- At least 1 year of account management, project or program management, or buying experience.
