About the Role

- Support PM Directors in meeting regularly with key Emirates representatives
- Represent the USA PM Team by attending Dubai morning meetings and passing key information back
- Attend In Service performance reviews at Emirates and be the PM focal for in service issues
- Lead the DD Team to ensure defined work scope with clear deliverables
- Support bid process by developing Program Management bid inputs and coordinating technical responses
- Coordinate with functional managers to establish cross functional program team
- Develop program Bill of Materials and identify risk areas
- Conduct internal program Kick Off Meeting to communicate customer expectations
- Direct and oversee program activities to accomplish objectives profitably
- Maintain program master schedule and conduct regular program team meetings
- Assess program financial profit and loss data and manage budget changes
- Correspond directly with external airline customer, aircraft manufacturer, and seat supplier
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field with 7 9+ years of experience or Master's with 5+ years
- Minimum 5 years of project management or PMO experience
- Demonstrated customer facing skill set with high level decision makers
- Proven financial savvy in business case development and value proposition
- Strong numerical skills and expert capabilities with analyzing large data sets using Excel
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio)
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to motivate others
- Ability to manage multiple time sensitive projects and work independently

Key Areas of Responsibility
- As the local PM, support the PM Directors in meeting regularly with key Emirates representatives.
- As the local PM, represent the USA PM Team by attending Dubai morning meetings and passing key information back.
- As the local PM, attend In Service performance reviews at Emirates and be the PM focal for in service issues.
- Lead the DD Team to ensure defined work scope with clear deliverables.
- Support the bid process for Sales and Bid Management by developing Program Management bid inputs.
- Participate in the handover meeting from Sales and Bid Management to Program Management.
- Coordinate with functional managers to identify and establish a cross functional program team.
- Develop the program Bill of Materials and identify risk areas.
- Conduct the internal program Kick Off Meeting to facilitate communication of customer expectations.
- Ensure Internal Change Orders are released in a timely manner.
- Direct and oversee program activities to assure accomplishment of program objectives.
- Implement and maintain the Manage Program (MAP) program tracking tool.
Skills, Experience, Education
- Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of 7 9+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 5+ years.
- A minimum of 5 years of project management or PMO experience.
- Demonstrated customer facing skill set with high level decision makers.
- Proven financial savvy specifically in business case development and value proposition.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from various stakeholders.
- Strong numerical skills and expert capabilities with analyzing large data sets using Excel.
- Able to proficiently operate MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio).
- Strong interpersonal communications skills and the ability to motivate others.
- Ability to manage multiple time sensitive projects and work independently.
Qualifications
- IPMA or PMP Certification preferred.
- Experience working in the aviation industry or on international avionics projects.
- FAA Certification experience.
- Familiarity with SAP, Primavera, Microsoft Project tools.
- Demonstrates accountability and leadership competencies.
- Well versed and have hands on experience in project management in a fast paced international business environment.
