About the Role

- Drive portfolio planning, prioritization, capacity management, and investment governance to align initiatives with business strategy and organizational objectives
- Monitor digital portfolio health, delivery progress, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resource utilization across all initiatives within the portfolio
- Lead digital portfolio governance forums, steering committees, and management reviews by providing accurate portfolio status, performance metrics, and decision support
- Ensure compliance with project delivery methodologies, PMO standards, funding approvals, audit requirements, and portfolio management processes
- Collaborate with business sponsors, product owners, service owners, delivery teams, finance teams, and senior leadership to resolve risks, escalations, and strategic delivery challenges
- Track portfolio financials, including funding utilization, forecasts, budgets
- Govern demand intake and portfolio optimization activities, balancing strategic priorities, regulatory requirements, resource capacity, and delivery constraints
- Drive continuous improvement of portfolio management practices, reporting, governance processes, and delivery effectiveness
- Prepare business case documents by liaising with IT and business stakeholders and obtaining necessary approvals and ensuring the delivery is met within the business intended timelines
Requirements
- 10+ years of Program/Portfolio Management experience
- Banking or Financial Services domain expertise (Mandatory)
- PMP, Agile, or equivalent certification
- Proven experience managing enterprise level programs and strategic portfolios
- Strong stakeholder, governance, budgeting, risk, and vendor management skills

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- PMP, Agile project management, or equivalent
- 10+ years of function experience
- Domain experience (Banking/ Finance)
- Proven experience in portfolio level and program management managing strategic level initiatives
- Has the ability to work on the portfolio level supporting the project prioritization to achieve the highest business value
- Participates in discussions and activities regarding IT project funding, resourcing and prioritization while advocating for the business as it relates to programs and projects
- Facilitates request intake and ideation process
- Understands, evaluates and manages risks to the portfolio
- Manages one or more business programs and projects
- Responsible for aligning programs, projects to strategic objectives and goals of respective service line working closely with Product owner, service owner and portfolio lead
- Works with PMs and engage with Technology, training, PMO and Heads of department to ensure successful implementation of projects and programs
- Plans and designs the programs and projects and proactively monitors its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action
