Role Overview
The Program Manager will direct unique and complex projects, including prototypes and high-risk projects, within CAE's Digital Accelerator environment.
The role manages human, financial, and operational resources to meet contractual obligations, project objectives, and profitability goals.
The position provides day-to-day leadership and coordinates technical, commercial, and operational project activities.
Mission and Responsibilities
- Develop project management plans, procedures, and guidelines for unique and complex projects.
- Establish goals and objectives for projects with major financial impact.
- Direct multiple projects involving resourcing, scheduling, subcontracting, and project management activities.
- Negotiate subcontract and work-share agreements.
- Resolve work and schedule problems by reprioritizing activities.
- Act as the primary customer liaison, including negotiations and securing customer acceptance.
- Support technical, cost, and schedule aspects of proposals.
- Implement project work breakdown structures and coordinate technical activities.
- Recommend recruiting and performance actions for project administrators.
- Develop contract amendments or side contracts to extend scope or improve fixed-price financial returns.
