Naval Operations & Engineering Training SME (Training Integration)-EN

Minimum Qualifications

• Extensive Royal Canadian Navy or comparable national naval service experience is required.
• Experience in naval operations, shipboard systems, engineering, maintenance, or naval training systems is required.
• Knowledge of CFITES or a comparable System Approach to Training is required.
• Training needs analysis experience for individual and collective operator and maintainer training is required.
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and deadline-management skills are required.
• Windows and Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and Visio, is required.

Security and Work Authorization

• Eligibility to meet Canada Controlled Goods Program requirements, Level II NATO SECRET security clearance, and ITAR requirements is required.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada through citizenship, permanent residence, or a valid work permit is required.
• The role requires effective collaboration in multidisciplinary teams both on-site and remotely.

Preferred Qualifications

• Naval training experience as an Officer or Non-Commissioned Member is preferred.
• A strong technical background in relevant naval occupations and knowledge of naval leadership are preferred.
• Familiarity with e-learning, simulation, VR/AR, synthetic environments, and CAF Military Employment Structure is preferred.
