Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who combines systems thinking with implementation ability and is equally comfortable speaking with employers, educators and young people.

Ideal candidates may come from:

• Industry engagement and employer partnerships
• Skills and workforce development
• Livelihoods and employability programs
• Green economy or climate transition sectors
• TVET and vocational education
• Workforce research and labour market intelligence

Desired experience

• 7–12 years of experience in one or more of:
• Industry engagement
• Workforce development
• TVET
• Livelihoods and employability
• Green economy sectors
• Experience working with employers, industry bodies or ecosystem actors.
• Strong understanding of labour markets, skills and career pathways.
• Experience translating insights into practical interventions and programs.
• Experience working with government systems, skilling ecosystems or educational institutions is desirable.
• Familiarity with emerging green sectors and climate transition trends is desirable but not mandatory.

Success in the role after 12–18 months

• Trade-specific green pathways identified and validated across multiple sectors and geographies.
• Strong ecosystem of employers and partners contributing to learner transitions.
• Green opportunities integrated into learner journeys and career guidance processes.
• Evidence generated on emerging green livelihoods and transitions within TVET ecosystems.
• Practical models developed that can be adopted by states and institutions.

The pay band for the position starts at Rs. 60,000 /- per month (cost to company) ( The salary offered will be commensurate with the experience and expertise of the candidate)
