What You'll Do

  • Within first month: shadow projects and sales efforts, begin taking accountability for client experience.
  • Within three months: responsible for engagement scoping, client communication, internal team management, escalation support, and service delivery.
  • Within first year: oversee team managing full scope of customer engagements, act as trusted advisor.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure services are provided, implemented correctly, and billed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Partner cross functionally during sales process, own services portions of deals.
  • Interact with sales reps and sales leadership during pre sales and post sales phases.
  • Serve as senior point of contact for client escalations.
  • Oversee financials of team's projects with focus on profitability and productivity.
  • Work with Resource Management Office to mediate and prioritize staff resources.
  • Provide project management duties for customer engagements as needed.
  • Provide strategic updates on client performance to senior management.
  • Work closely with Customer Success Managers to establish and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Identify new opportunities for expanding SailPoint solutions and services footprint.
  • Manage team including staffing decisions, utilization management, performance reviews, and career development.
  • Coach Engagement Managers and project team members on performance and development.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience at a software, SaaS, or consulting company.
  • 3+ years of project management experience.
  • 2+ years of people management experience.
  • Exceptional mentorship and leadership skills with passion for continuous improvement.
  • Experience with project management duties (planning, budget, scope, schedule, stakeholder, risk management).
  • Exceptional communication skills and extensive experience working with clients and partners.
  • Outstanding organizational and multi tasking abilities.
  • Extensive experience working with Sales to scope services projects for enterprise software.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Travel

  • This position requires up to 15% travel.
