- Exceed revenue quota goals on a quarterly and yearly basis
- Develop territory and opportunity plans to progress from discovery to next stages
- Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute marketing plans
- Lead technical resources to demonstrate SailPoint's advantages to customers
- Oversee all aspects of the sales cycle including qualifying, presentations, demonstrations, and RFP responses
- Develop internal programs and enablement to scale the sales organization
- Utilize reporting tools including accurate forecasting and Salesforce hygiene
Requirements
- Experience as a specialist sales executive in a matrix selling environment
- Consultative selling skills with ability to align business value and technology solutions
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity/identity applications and modern cloud technologies
- Ability to work across IT personas from executives to individual contributors
- Experience with analytical tools and data driven sales programs
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue quotas

Qualifications
- Business value led salesperson with ability to deliver UI demos, or sales ready Solutions Engineer looking to move into sales.
- Curious with ability to synthesize information rapidly in a dynamic environment.
- Worked as a specialist sales executive in a dynamic team based matrix selling environment.
- Consultative seller who deeply understands how to discover mutual alignment between business value and technology solutions.
- Quickly becomes a competitive blackbelt, able to anticipate common objections.
- Knows how to work across various personas within IT organizations, ideally with experience in Cybersecurity/Identity applications.
- Develops strong relationships and can operate at all levels from IT executives to individual contributors.
- Understands how to scale and empower other Account resources.
- Utilizes analytical tools and complex data to drive programs and plays.
- Can demonstrate expertise in understanding and presenting the value of SailPoint's Agentic Technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Exceed revenue quota goals on a quarterly and yearly basis.
- Effectively address each customer's and partner's unique inquiries by providing accurate information and tailored solutions.
- Strategically engage with customers and business partners to maintain high customer service.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute marketing plans.
- Pursue all leads supplied and ensure internal systems are updated.
- Lead the appropriate technical resources to demonstrate SailPoint's advantages.
- Follow up with customers and partner with post sale team for ongoing coverage.
- Oversee all aspects of the sales cycle including qualifying, presentations, demonstrations, and RFP responses.
- Foster deep understanding of the territory including customers, prospects, partners, influencers, and competitors.
- Understand and communicate all product and technological strategies of competitive organizations.
- Effectively initiate, navigate, and manage discussions across all levels of customer's organization.
- Utilize all reporting tools including accurate forecasting and Salesforce hygiene.
Internal Enablement and Planning
- Develop and deliver internal training and enablement programs for Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, and Business Development teams.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to develop comprehensive strategic account plans incorporating Agentic Technology solutions.
- Build internal programs to foster collaboration between the Identity Intelligence Specialist team and the broader sales organization.
