Production Supervisor, Millwork

Education:

Completion of post-secondary school.

Post-secondary diploma in Carpentry.

Health & Safety Courses/Training: WHMIS, Supervisor Health & Safety Awareness Training (HSAT), Basic Supervisory Training.

Experience:

5+ years’ production experience in Architectural millwork.

2+ years’ production experience in a lead capacity.

Leadership experience with personnel responsibilities is an asset.

CNC experience is considered an asset

Previous industry related experience in construction, carpentry, trim, paint and manufacturing considered an asset.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Attributes:

Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and/or models.

Knowledge of safe work practices including the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
