Production Shift Leader- Supervisor will provide manufacturing front-line leadership to multiple production lines and deliver results. Location: 5345 275 St, Langley Twp, BC V4W 3X8 Wage: $70,0000 – $75,000 Shift: available to work any shift (flexibility with working overtime, and on weekends, as necessary)
In a typical day, you will:
Ensure teams follow safe work practices. Address unsafe working conditions and any team member safety concerns. Complete thorough incident investigations and develop corrective actions to appropriately reduce or eliminate risk. Conduct workplace inspections and audits and address risk. Drive a culture of 0 tolerance with LOTO and other life saving procedures;
Conduct workplace inspections and audits and be proactive to address potential issues;
Provide orientation and training as required to ensure an effective and efficient work force. Assign and oversee formal training and sign off on completed training requirements;
Ensure product quality and food safety requirements are met through verification of quality checks and lot tracking per HACCP plan;
Ensure the required equipment, materials, supplies and manpower are available;
Provide leadership necessary to ensure the team meets or exceeds targets;
Lead optimization of production equipment and processes needed to meet and exceed downtime and waste targets;
Establish and sustain a positive and cooperative working environment through effective communications with all employees;
Provide effective, timely and fair performance and disciplinary feedback to team members and document as needed.
All other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing environment, & minimum 2 years’ experience in a Lead Hand or Supervisory role;
Experience with OSHA regulations, HACCP and Food GMPs;
A good grasp of inventory management (cycle counting, materials management, etc.);
Conduct work with integrity, abiding and upholding the Code of Conduct and Company Core Values (Integrity, Respect, Commitment, Courage and Growth);
Act, react and interact with respect and regard for others;
Ability to anticipate what needs to be done & commits to take ownership to ensure it gets done;
