Role Overview
Manage day-to-day production at a flooring and joinery production facility.
Supervise factory staff and deliver production output according to project requirements, deadlines, specifications, and quality standards.
The role covers flooring materials, production planning, manpower, materials, quality, safety, records, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan production schedules based on project requirements and delivery deadlines.
- Supervise workers, carpenters, machine operators, and other factory staff.
- Allocate manpower and resources according to workload.
- Monitor cutting, processing, finishing, material usage, stock availability, and wastage.
- Coordinate production requirements with Project, Sales, Installation, Warehouse, Procurement, and Management teams.
- Conduct quality checks and resolve delays, quality issues, and operational problems.
- Maintain production, attendance, progress, pending work, and resource records.
- Maintain machines, tools, equipment, safety, cleanliness, and workplace organization.
- Train staff, maintain discipline, report progress, and improve productivity and efficiency.
