Job summary
The Floorist is seeking an experienced AutoCAD Draftsman to prepare technical drawings, shop drawings, layouts, and detailed drawings for flooring and interior fit-out projects.
The role requires strong AutoCAD skills, attention to detail, and preferably experience in the UAE flooring or fit-out industry.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare AutoCAD drawings, layouts, and shop drawings for flooring and interior fit-out projects.
- Prepare layouts for LVT, SPC, vinyl, carpet, parquet, engineered wood, and other flooring materials.
- Review architectural drawings, plans, and project specifications.
- Prepare flooring plans, installation layouts, patterns, details, and sections.
- Take dimensions and measurements from drawings and site information.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and material calculations when required.
- Coordinate with project, sales, estimation, installation, and site teams.
- Revise drawings based on client, consultant, or project team comments.
- Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions.
- Resolve drawing-related issues during installation and submit accurate drawings by project deadlines.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of UAE experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Ability to read and understand architectural and technical drawings.
- Experience preparing shop drawings and detailed layouts.
- Flooring, interior fit-out, construction, or related industry experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of quantity take-offs and measurements is advantageous.
- Good attention to detail, accuracy, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 3,000–AED 3,200 per month.
