- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly master production schedules based on demand forecasts, sales orders, and equipment capacity
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and work in progress (WIP); coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of rubber compounds and chemical additives
- Analyze plant capacity and assign shifts, labor, and machine availability to optimize overall equipment effectiveness
- Work alongside Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams to ensure manufactured rubber products adhere to strict industry specifications
- Identify bottlenecks in the production line, recommend cost reduction strategies, and support lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce scrap and waste
- Compile and submit regular production performance and status reports to senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–5+ years of production planning or scheduling experience within a manufacturing or continuous flow environment
- Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
- Strong data analysis skills using MS Excel
- Certifications like APICS (CPIM) or lean manufacturing accreditation are strongly preferred

Overview

- The role focuses on scheduling workflows for rubber molding or extrusion, coordinating raw material procurement and optimizing production efficiency to minimize waste and reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly master production schedules based on demand forecasts, sales orders, and equipment capacity.
- Material Planning: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and work in progress (WIP). Coordinate with procurement to ensure the timely delivery of rubber compounds and chemical additives to prevent production shortages.
- Capacity & Resource Allocation: Analyze plant capacity and assign shifts, labor, and machine availability (e.g., mixing mills, curing presses, extruders) to optimize overall equipment effectiveness.
- Quality & Compliance Collaboration: Work alongside the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) teams to ensure manufactured rubber products adhere to strict industry specifications.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the production line, recommend cost reduction strategies, and support lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce scrap and waste.
- Reporting: Compile and submit regular production performance and status reports to senior management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–5+ years of production planning or scheduling experience within a manufacturing or continuous flow environment (custom molding or extrusion experience is highly advantageous).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
- Strong data analysis skills using MS Excel.
- Certifications: Certifications like APICS (CPIM) or lean manufacturing accreditation are strongly preferred.

- Pay: ﷼3,000.00 ﷼4,000.00 per month
