Lead and manage all production operations to achieve safety, quality, cost, inventory, and delivery targets.
Oversee daily activities across shifts, ensuring execution of production schedules and on-time delivery of customer projects.
Monitor and report on key production metrics and KPIs; analyze trends, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement , leveraging Lean tools , 5S , and structured problem-solving methodologies.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Project Management, and HR to improve efficiency and resolve issues.
Engage in strategic planning and execution with senior management, contributing operational insights and supporting initiatives such as shift expansion and capacity growth.
Standardize production workflows and implement best practices to support long-term scalability.
Lead workforce planning, hiring, training, and performance management of supervisors and frontline employees.
Maintain a positive and productive union-management relationship, partnering with HR to address grievances and conduct investigations.
Ensure full compliance with Ontario labour laws , OHSA , and ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001).
Administer WSIB and return-to-work programs , and oversee short- and long-term disability case management.
In accordance with the Pay Transparency Act, we are committed to providing clear and accessible information about compensation for this role. The expected compensation range for this position is $115,000 – $150,000 / Annually. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on several job-related factors, including relevant education, depth and breadth of experience, professional certifications or license, specialized skills aligned with the role, and internal equity considerations.
