Serve as the primary HR contact for production employees and leaders, providing guidance and support on workplace issues, policies, procedures, and programs.
Partner with production supervisors and managers to address employee relations matters, attendance concerns, performance management, workplace conflict, and employee development opportunities.
Support the consistent administration and interpretation of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and assist in resolving employee concerns and grievances.
Coach and support front-line leaders in effectively managing people-related matters while ensuring compliance with company policies, employment legislation, and collective agreement requirements.
Support employee engagement initiatives that promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture.
Lead onboarding and offboarding activities for hourly and salaried employees, ensuring a positive employee experience and smooth transition processes.
Draft employment contracts, offer letters, disciplinary documentation, employee correspondence, and other HR-related communications.
Administer employee benefits programs for unionized and non-unionized employee groups, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and annual renewal activities.
Administer pension programs, including enrollment, retirement, and termination processes for both Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution plans.
Coordinate short-term disability claims and support return-to-work programs in collaboration with employees, leaders, healthcare providers, and external vendors.
Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data to support compliance, reporting, and workforce planning activities.
Generate, analyze, and interpret HR metrics and reports related to attendance, turnover, vacancies, overtime, and other workforce trends to support business decision-making.
Leverage HR technologies, AI-powered tools, and data analytics to improve HR processes, enhance employee and leader self-service, generate workforce insights, and support data-driven decision-making.
Utilize AI tools to draft communications, analyze workforce trends, support recruitment activities, develop training materials, and streamline administrative processes while ensuring data privacy and compliance requirements are maintained.
Identify opportunities to automate routine HR processes and recommend technology-driven solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and the employee experience.
Collaborate with HR Business Partners and business leaders to implement HR initiatives that support organizational objectives, operational effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
Participate in corporate and global HR projects and initiatives as required.
In accordance with the Pay Transparency Act, we are committed to providing clear and accessible information about compensation for this role. The expected compensation range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000/ Annually. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on several job-related factors, including relevant education, depth and breadth of experience, professional certifications or license, specialized skills aligned with the role, and internal equity considerations. This role offers a comprehensive total rewards package, including paid vacation, group health benefits, pension plan, bonus, and additional employee programs.
