Production Maintenance Supervisor

Maintenance Operations

• Supervise daily maintenance work and assign tasks to technicians based on production priorities.
• Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs and ensure scheduled inspections are completed.
• Respond to breakdowns, lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Inspect mechanical and electrical equipment, including motors, pumps, conveyors, compressors, control systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
• Coordinate maintenance with Production, Operations, Engineering, Procurement, contractors, and specialist service providers.

Reliability and Documentation

• Monitor downtime, MTBF, MTTR, availability, maintenance costs, and other reliability KPIs.
• Analyze equipment failure trends and recommend improvements to reliability, maintenance efficiency, and production performance.
• Maintain equipment histories, maintenance records, technical drawings, manuals, procedures, and maintenance documentation.
• Monitor spare parts, tools, consumables, and technical materials and coordinate critical supplies.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, upgrades, modifications, Lean Maintenance, 5S, and operational-excellence initiatives.

Safety and Team Leadership

• Ensure maintenance work meets required specifications and complies with technical standards, procedures, and company policies.
• Enforce lockout/tagout and safe-isolation procedures, conduct safety inspections, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions.
• Support emergency response, business continuity, audits, and regulatory requirements.
• Train, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and monitor attendance, productivity, workmanship, and performance.
• Conduct shift briefings and handovers and communicate outstanding equipment issues and operational risks to management.

Requirements

• A diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Maintenance Engineering, or a related field is required.
• At least five years of experience in industrial maintenance, production maintenance, manufacturing, or a similar environment is required.
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance knowledge, industrial equipment experience, troubleshooting skills, and root-cause analysis capability are required.
• Experience implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs and knowledge of CMMS, work-order management, and maintenance planning are required.
• Strong safety knowledge, including lockout/tagout and safe-isolation practices, is required.
• Leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and production-prioritization skills are required.
• Familiarity with specified industrial equipment, Lean Manufacturing, reliability management, UAE/GCC industry, or relevant certifications is advantageous or welcome rather than mandatory.
