Gulfmaid is seeking a Production Engineer with 5-8 years of experience in the plastic industry to monitor and optimize production operations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements in Jeddah.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily production operations, machine performance, output, waste, and downtime.
- Support production planning and achievement of quality and productivity targets.
- Troubleshoot production and process-related issues.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Identify opportunities to reduce scrap, cycle time, and production losses.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Warehouse teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
- 5–8 years of experience in production/manufacturing, preferably in the plastic industry.
- Hands-on experience in Pipe Extrusion OR Thermoforming processes.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, machine parameters, and troubleshooting.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
