Overview
- Plan, coordinate, and control daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for HVAC duct fabrication (GI ducts, fire-rated ducts, insulation, accessories)
- Coordinate with planning, design, and project teams to ensure timely project execution
- Ensure production output meets approved drawings, specifications, and material submittals
- Supervise fabrication activities including cutting, bending, sealing, flanging, and assembly
- Ensure compliance with HVAC standards such as SMACNA, DW/144, ASHRAE, and project requirements
- Conduct quality checks to ensure dimensional accuracy, air leakage compliance, and workmanship standards
- Implement corrective actions for non-conformance issues
- Monitor and control raw material usage (GI sheets, sealants, gaskets, insulation materials)
- Reduce wastage and optimize material utilization
- Coordinate with procurement and stores for timely material availability
- Supervise technicians, machine operators, and helpers; allocate manpower effectively
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and safe working practices
- Oversee duct fabrication machines (TDF/TDC, plasma cutting, lock-forming machines, etc.)
- Coordinate preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
- Support cost reduction initiatives and improve production efficiency
- Prepare daily production reports, KPIs, NCRs, and documentation
- Support audits and client inspections when required
