Role Overview
Lead production planning, scheduling, material coordination, capacity management, work-order control, production-flow management, inventory coordination, and manufacturing execution.
Ensure plans are realistic, resources are available, priorities are communicated, bottlenecks are addressed, and customer commitments are supported.
The role is fully remote and supports an internationally distributed environment.
Production Control Strategy
- Develop production-control strategies aligned with business, customer, capacity, inventory, and operational objectives.
- Establish policies, procedures, standards, workflows, governance, ownership, and escalation processes.
- Continuously improve production-control effectiveness.
Planning and Scheduling
- Develop short-, medium-, and long-term production plans from customer demand and business requirements.
- Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule and detailed schedules by line, machine, work center, shift, product, and order.
- Balance demand, capacity, labor, equipment, materials, inventory, and production constraints.
