Role Overview
The FinOps Manager will lead cloud financial operations, cost management, resource optimization, financial governance, forecasting, reporting, and cross-functional FinOps practices.
The role bridges Finance, Engineering, and Business teams to improve cloud-spend visibility, cost controls, infrastructure utilization, and technology investment value.
The organization works across Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, Finance, Procurement, Security, Product, Operations, and Executive Leadership.
Work Arrangement
- The role is fully remote in the United Arab Emirates.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a FinOps strategy, governance framework, policies, processes, standards, and operating model.
- Monitor cloud spending and establish cost allocation, tagging, chargeback, showback, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting practices.
- Analyze cost drivers, usage patterns, financial variances, anomalies, inefficient resources, and financial risks.
- Partner with Engineering on rightsizing, scheduling, cleanup, workload optimization, and architectural improvements.
