Provide oversight for C, C++, assembly where required, Python tooling, embedded scripting, low-level interfaces, ARM, RISC-V, DSPs, FPGA interfaces, sensors, actuators, and communication modules.

Required qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related discipline.
At least 8 years of embedded or firmware engineering experience and at least 3 years of engineering leadership or management experience.
Strong C/C++ expertise, embedded-systems knowledge, firmware architecture experience, and experience with microcontrollers and/or SoCs.
Experience with RTOS and/or embedded Linux, strong debugging and problem-solving capability, and experience managing engineering teams.
Strong project and delivery-management skills, technical decision-making ability, stakeholder communication, and fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
Experience with ARM Cortex-M, ARM Cortex-A, RISC-V, FreeRTOS, Zephyr, ThreadX, QNX, VxWorks, or equivalent platforms.
Experience with Yocto, Buildroot, Git-based development, CI/CD, hardware-in-the-loop testing, secure boot, OTA infrastructure, and firmware security.
Knowledge of MISRA C/C++, CERT C/C++, ISO 26262, IEC 61508, functional safety, cybersecurity engineering, or power-management optimization.
Experience with IoT or cloud-connected devices, manufacturing-test integration, distributed teams, or large and multinational organizations.
Arabic language skills are advantageous.

Work environment
The role is described as a full-time management position in the United Arab Emirates.
The successful candidate will coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and product-development stakeholders across the UAE and international locations.
Experience in UAE/GCC, industrial, smart-infrastructure, IoT, telecommunications, automotive, electronics, energy, or other embedded-device sectors is advantageous.
