Responsibilities
- Support the production team in the control room during live news bulletins and programs, ensuring smooth coordination between the director, producer, presenters, and technical teams.
- Assist in preparing and updating news rundowns and scripts, ensuring all segments, live inserts, and packages are accurately reflected before going on air.
- Coordinate with the newsroom, graphics, transmission, and studio teams to confirm the readiness of video packages, lower thirds, and other on air elements.
- Monitor bulletin timing and segment durations, assisting the producer in maintaining the broadcast schedule and managing transitions between stories.
- Communicate real time updates or last minute editorial changes to the control room and relevant teams during live broadcasts.
