Job Description

  • Konecranes Lift Trucks is a business unit within the Port Solutions business area, a global leader in container handling solutions. We provide a complete range of heavy duty lift trucks, combining robust engineering, smart technologies, and reliable performance to support customers across ports, ter
  • We are looking for a Product Support Technician to join our local team in Dubai and strengthen our technical capability across the Middle East & Africa region.
  • In this role, you will support dealers and customers by delivering technical training, ensuring high quality assembly and commissioning, and providing expert troubleshooting for Konecranes Lift Trucks and Liftace products.
  • You will play a key role in maintaining product quality, improving technical knowledge across the network, and supporting future business growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop the technical skills and product knowledge within the dealer network
  • Train and guide dealers on assembly and commissioning processes for Konecranes Lift Trucks and Liftace products
  • Perform assembly, commissioning, and inspections when required
  • Deliver classroom and hands on technical training for customers and dealers
  • Instruct end users’ operators and technicians on safety, functionality, operation, and maintenance
  • Provide troubleshooting support both on site and remotely (phone/email)
  • Supervise field activities to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
  • Verify that products meet specifications and quality requirements
  • Identify and report non conformities and technical issues in a clear and standardized manner
  • Visit customers and dealers to provide technical advice and support product performance
  • Ensure correct interpretation and application of Konecranes Warranty Policy

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field
  • Experience in heavy equipment, material handling, or industrial machinery
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Experience in technical training or field service is an advantage
  • Customer oriented mindset with strong communication skills
  • Willingness to travel across the MEA region
