Responsibilities
- Lead the product roadmap, including new product launches, rationalization and harmonization activities
- Lead and maintain third party relationships like Collabria
- Lead the promotional approach for product launches, including strategy, competitive intelligence, sales tools, weekly reporting and debrief
- Complete requirements, concept validation and implementation of new banking products and services
- Maintain all product documentation, specifically product profiles, to ensure accuracy
- Coach member facing team members on new product initiatives and campaigns
- Respond to team members' questions raised in product team inbox
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Commerce, Finance, or Business
- In depth knowledge in business theory and marketing practices
- 3 years related experience in marketing and product development
- Experience in financial services industry considered an asset
- 2 3 years of branch experience, knowledge of current products, policies and procedures considered a strong asset
- Ability to think strategically and globally
- Must communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
- Must possess strong leadership and ability to negotiate and influence others
- Self motivated, innovative and decisive
- Excellent analytical, reasoning, quantitative, organizational and administrative skills
- Strong project management skills
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office products

Job Description
- We are currently seeking a Product Specialist to join our team.
- This is a hybrid role with an option to work from our Collaboration Centres in Langley, Vancouver, Kelowna, Penticton, Duncan, Victoria or Toronto.
- The Product Specialist leads key product management functions for Tru Cooperative Bank.
Here’s what would be included as a part of your typical day
- Product Roadmap: Accountable for the product roadmap, including new product launches, rationalization and harmonization activities.
- Third Party Relationships: Leads and maintains third party relationships like Collabria.
- Product Launch: Leads the promotional approach, including strategy, competitive intelligence, sales tools, weekly reporting and debrief.
- Product Development: Completes requirements, concept validation and implementation of new banking products and services.
- Documentation: Maintains all product documentation specifically the product profiles.
- Product Knowledge Share: Coaches member facing team members on new product initiatives and campaigns.
Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications
