Product Owner | Scrum Master

Role overview

Product ownership

• Define product vision, objectives, priorities, and roadmap.
• Translate business needs, customer feedback, and market requirements into clear product requirements.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and strategic goals.
• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, functional requirements, and product specifications.
• Balance customer needs, business objectives, technical considerations, and delivery capacity.

Agile delivery

• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies.
• Remove or escalate blockers affecting team productivity, quality, or delivery timelines.
• Develop release plans, sprint goals, and delivery schedules, and coordinate product releases.
• Identify risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and potential delivery issues.
• Coach team members and stakeholders on Scrum practices and Agile ways of working.

Stakeholder and performance management

• Coordinate developers, designers, QA specialists, business analysts, and technical teams.
• Review completed features against agreed business and quality expectations.
• Analyze customer feedback, product performance, user adoption, customer satisfaction, and relevant KPIs.
• Use velocity, cycle time, burndown, throughput, and sprint performance to monitor delivery.
• Resolve conflicts, organize improvement plans, and align product initiatives with organizational strategy.

Required qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in business, information technology, computer science, product management, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, Business Analyst, Project Manager, or Agile delivery professional.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum, product development, and iterative delivery.
• Experience managing backlogs, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, and facilitating Scrum ceremonies.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders and manage changing priorities.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Trello, or similar Agile tools.
• Ability to interpret product analytics, KPIs, user feedback, and delivery metrics.

Additional qualifications

• Experience in digital products, software development, SaaS, fintech, e-commerce, or technology environments is advantageous.
• CSPO, PSPO, CSM, or equivalent certification is advantageous.
• Experience managing multiple products, teams, or complex stakeholder environments is a plus.
