Full-time, mid-level DevOps Engineer and Release Engineer role.
The role focuses on software delivery, deployment automation, infrastructure reliability, and release management.
The engineer will collaborate with development, QA, security, infrastructure, operations, product, and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate build, test, deployment, and release processes.
- Manage release schedules, versioning, branching strategies, deployment workflows, and release windows.
- Manage cloud infrastructure, deployment environments, Infrastructure as Code, containers, and configuration securely.
- Monitor pipelines and systems, troubleshoot failures, support incidents, and perform root-cause analysis.
- Implement observability, security checks, automated testing, quality gates, rollback procedures, and controlled deployments.
- Maintain technical documentation, release notes, operational runbooks, and deployment standards.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant computer science, information technology, or software engineering field.
- Experience in DevOps, release engineering, build engineering, systems engineering, cloud operations, or a similar role.
- Hands-on CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Experience with Git, cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, scripting, Linux, Windows, networking, monitoring, and logging.
- Understanding of application security, secrets management, access control, vulnerability management, and reliable deployment practices.
- Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or relevant professional certifications are advantageous.
