Manage product vision and product roadmap for enhancements, development, and rationalizations

Define product requirements by researching existing client needs, competitive products, industry trends and utilizing Mircom subject matter expert knowledge.
Understand the competitive marketplace and publish tools to help Sales position products.
Provide analytical insights to help drive the product development roadmap.
Represent Product Management on cross-functional teams for Process improvements and other initiatives such as SKU Simplification, new product launches or cost reduction
Participate in analyzing and designing new product features and enhancements.
Requirements and Skills:
3-5 Years in a full-time job capacity as Product Manager, with a strong foundation in physical products, digital services, or growth-focused roles.
Knowledge of relevant Fire Alarm and BMS products, codes and standards is a strong asset.
Engineering Degree – Mechanical, Electrical or Civil is a must.
Experience leading product discovery, including customer research, problem validation, hypothesis testing, and translating insights into product decisions.
Very Strong written and oral communication skills.
Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and third parties.
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).
Microsoft Power BI and ERP experience are assets
Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve a common goal.
Ability to write clear, concise reports and documentation.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with evolving priorities.
Solid critical thinking, analytical and problem resolution skills to analyze trends and impacts, identify options and implications, and propose practical solutions.
Ability to eliminate obstacles through creative and adaptive approach es.
