Role Overview
CMA CGM Canada is seeking an experienced Product Manager in Network Security for its global cybersecurity team in Montreal.
The Product Manager owns the vision and value proposition of a GSO security product and drives strategy, roadmap, and continuous improvement.
The role works across IT, cybersecurity, operations, and other internal entities to align product value and evolution with business needs.
Product Strategy and Delivery
- Define product vision, objectives, expected outcomes, and a continuously refined roadmap.
- Present key product topics to decision boards and act as a product ambassador across internal entities.
- Define and analyze expertise KPIs in alignment with the GSO Office and governance framework.
- Maintain the product backlog and coordinate improvement initiatives and expert service delivery.
- Maintain the product service catalog and integrate quality, security, and compliance into product decisions.
- Ensure procedures, operational guidelines, and support documentation are maintained.
People Management
- Set individual and team objectives aligned with product priorities and GSO strategy.
- Develop team expertise through coaching, feedback, performance reviews, onboarding, and capability building.
Education and Certifications
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field is listed.
- Relevant cybersecurity, product management, or IT governance certifications are advantageous, including CISSP, CISM, Certified Agile Product Owner, or ITIL v4.
Knowledge and Experience
- Experience leading IT or security operations teams, including L1/L2/L3 support teams.
- Knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and MITRE ATT&CK.
- Experience with network and cloud security, including NGFW, SASE, Zscaler, AWS security, or Azure security.
- Understanding of cybersecurity metrics, DevSecOps, CI/CD security, automation, APIs, production operations, and service continuity.
- Knowledge of incident, problem, escalation, monitoring, alerting, and runbook-based operations.
- Experience in 24/7 environments and on-call operating models.
Additional Skills
- Strong operational process and documentation skills, communication, coordination, analysis, and decision-making.
- Written and spoken English is required; French is an advantage.
- Leadership, team coaching, and a service-oriented mindset are expected.
